Personal Career
I began my career in real estate in January 2004 on the day that LJ Hooker opened its doors in Matarangi. My previous background was largely industrial sales and management in Auckland and Hamilton. I have been a member of L J Hookers Captains Club (representing the top 15% of salespeople internationally) for the past 3 years and have really enjoyed being a part of the team and working towards the success our company now enjoys.
Family
My wife Sue and I purchased our first Matarangi property in 1987 and moved here to live in 2001. I now live in Whitianga where our 7 year old boy attends Mercury Bay Area School. My 20 minute daily commute through Kuaotunu would have to be one of the best in the world! My family connection with Matarangi continues with my brother living here, and two brothers (and sisters) in law having holiday homes here. I’m also delighted that a number of our friends that we have introduced to the area are also enjoying their homes here.
